Slow Food Tampa Bay

Slow Food USA and Slow Food Tampa Bay support the CIW and their efforts to improve the lives of farmworkers in Florida. A penny per pound increase would be a transparent price increase to most consumers, yet it would raise these workers out of poverty and slave labor like conditions. Many fast food restaurants have already agreed to CIW's requests, and now it's time to ask the supermarkets to do the same.

We in the Tampa Bay Area... are in a unique position to show Publix that the public supports these workers. Please spread the word and join the CIW on March 5th
