Slow Food Tampa Bay, a chapter of Slow Food USA, is a non-profit, membership-based organization that supports “good clean food and raising awareness of how food choices affect our community and the world.”
Anyone interested in getting involved in this cause at a local level is welcome to attend the upcoming organizational meetings.
Fall is the perfect time to re-energize the local chapter and get everyone already involved reinvigorated and recommitted to this great cause while also connecting with others who may want to help build awareness and increase support for the Slow Food movement.
Slow Food is an idea, a way of living and a way of eating. It is part of a global, grassroots movement that combines the pleasure of eating with the commitment to supporting locally-sourced foods that are produced using environmentally friendly practices.
